I am definitely a self confessed photography geek, and if you know my blog whatsoever you would have already noticed that I use an excessive amount of photos in my posts, and ladies this post is no different. Au contraire, I wish I could stuff tens of visuals in here that will basically be about the same thing in different angles, but empathy and good sense really, don't allow me to do so.
I was invited to Coty's Spring/Summer 2013 fragrances launch last week at the swanky cool Cooks Academy in Dublin and my oh my was that an exciting event. Not only it was the best fun filled launch I have ever attended, but it was also particularly exciting for me because I got to view their beautiful fragrance releases including the Marc Jacobs Sunshine Edition perfumes, which will be on stands nationwide starting tomorrow.
Today I will only be focusing my attention on Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Sunshine, so behold the stunner in all its shiny glory.

The bottle is ludicrously pretty, so gorgeous I was dying to photograph it over the weekend. Yes lads, my life is *that* exciting!
Top Notes: Strawberry, Apple Blossom & Pink Grapefruit
Middle Notes: Jasmine, Rose & Violet Leaf
Base Notes: Oakmoss & Amber
A colourful take on the classic 'Daisy' rubber topper
The perfume opens with a punch of pink grapefruit and strawberry, which are very evident and strong upon application. It soon dries down and becomes sweeter and the grapefruit loses its intensity and makes way to the floral notes to perform on the grand stage. Jasmine is also quite obvious but in a pleasant and comforting way. This is definitely a summer citrus/fruity floral fragrance that I would see well suitable to a lot of ages, but teenagers and young women especially will adore this I reckon. To me, this is quite reminiscent of Marc Jacobs 'Dot' but apart from Jasmine which appears in both fragrances, the composition notes are quite different. And yet, there is something quite Marc Jacobs-esque about all of his perfumes, it's something that I can't quite put my finger on. That being said, I adore 'Dot' and I adore this one, in fact I can't wait for the Summer to arrive so I can rock this out & about.
The Marc Jacobs Sunshine Limited Edition comprises of three new releases including the above, 'Daisy Sunshine' and 'Oh Lola! Sunsheer'. These scents have encapsulated whatever is iconic in each fragrance in part, but all have a dose of fruity notes added to them to provide for a summery twist on the originals.
Daisy Eau So Fresh Sunshine 75 ml EDT - 60.98 Euro
Daisy Sunshine 50 ml EDT - 57.23 Euro
Oh Lola! Sunsheer 50 ml EDT - 59.77 Euro
So ladies, how taken are you judging by the bottle & topper entirely?
