Sleek Face Form Palette in 'Fair'

I've long wanted to try the Sleek Contour and Highlight Kit for it looked like the perfect little face palette to carry around in one's handbag, and their 'Rose Gold' blusher is one of their most raved about products in the beauty blogosphere. So when I spotted that Sleek have conveniently packed all of the above in one go, I knew exactly what would become my first Sleek investment: the Sleek Face Form in shade 'Fair'.

And so, I ordered it two weeks ago from Cloud10Beauty , which is a highly reputable Irish online beauty store, for a 13 Euro worth of 'damage'.

Roger & Gallet: Brand Focus

Fist of, why a 'Brand Focus' post from me today? It's simple, I love this brand a lot and having five products in my current fragrance collection that look delicious on my goodies shelf, I thought I'll introduce to some of you that might not be familiar with the brand yet, my thoughts on the scents that I have, which in all fairness were mostly sent to me for consideration purposes, by the brand's PR rep. While this latest statement of mine would raise some eyebrows amongst you, if you know me and know my blog, you would already be aware by now of the fact that I always review what I want and I do so in full honesty, and that I never write anything in dishonesty...at least I hope that this is how I come across to you when reading my posts and reviews.

Now that my intro and disclaimer are out of the way, let us proceed...

The main reason I love the Roger & Gallet scents is because everything I have  in my collection is far from sickly sweet and overpowering, everything is fresh, light, citrusy and subtle. I'm overpowering enough (ahem!) without any scents to take that away from me and I like my scents to have a trace of clean and fresh in them.

Current Nail Care Routine

I am admittedly not a huge 'nail person', the closest I get to a nail care routine is usually a base and a top coat, and the closest I get to a manicure is a classic, all ten fingernails coated in one shade nail polish, no bloody 'accent nail' which I hate by the way, and no nail art cause I'm lazy like that and totally untalented in this regard.

Until a couple of weeks ago, products like cuticle creams and oils and all that jazz, were completely foreign concepts to me, that was until the Sally Hansen Fairy (PR) sent me the Vitamin E Nail and Cuticle Oil and the new Salon Manicure Cuticle Eraser and Balm. Now, that can only mean one thing ladies and gents, for the sake of reviewing and blogging I was about to venture myself into the world of nail caring, and I must admit I'm fitting quite well in it, for I now have a proper nail care routine to brag about.

ESSENCE NAIL POLISH REMOVER

I ran out of my usual L'Onglex  nail polish remover sometime before Christmas, and whilst shopping in Penneys/Primark (as you do!), I found this Coconut & Papaya bad boy staring at me from a basket near the shop's counter. And so, I thought I'll give it a good, warm home. And I'm glad I did!

This my darlings, smells of coconut I kid you not, it leaves the most gorgeous smell of coconut on your nails after using it. It removes every bit of stubborn nail polish, leaving my cuticles and nail surface feeling and looking fresh and clean, and properly moisturised, there's not a dry patch in sight with this product I tell you. I am actually blown away at the quality of this remover. It comes in a 150 ml bottle, and it costs about 3/4 Euro if I'm not mistaken. I will never be without this product, like ever!

I was sent by the brand a selection of goodies from this collection, so keep reading if you wish to find out my thoughts on them, but beware this is going to be a pic-heavy post, as I already got you all accustomed to, 'ArtDonatella style' :).
