Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture The Mats- 'Rose Crazy'

There it was hitting my inbox, the news! The fantastic news that Yves Saint Laurent Cosmetics have finally created as part of the 'Rouge Pur Couture' saga and their new Autumn 'Contemporary Amazon' collection, a spanking new matte formula in six different shades (please excuse my dramatic intro, I just can't help it!), a lipstick simply called 'The Mats'. Now if that ain't big news for me beauty wise, I don't know what else could be. I am a YSL lippie junkie, well known for my self-treats and me-rewards materialized into YSL lipsticks of any kind!

Make-Up Routine

It takes a lot of balls to do what I'm about to do! I've been long thinking about doing a make-up routine post, but as other trillion women out there, I'm so self-conscious when it comes to my naked face, and still, because my skin is not at its best form at the moment (that's my story and I'm sticking to it!), I will post only my naked but covered in foundation face for the time being, and who knows, maybe in the future I'll show you my au naturel face :) (would not get my hopes to high on this one though, trust me- you do not want to see it!).

How to: Clarins '3-Dot Liner'

There was a lot of buzz in the beauty world when the Clarins '3- Dot Liner' hit the market this month, and I was one of those people buzzing about it: what is it? what does do? is is a gimmick? and so on and so forth. And to me it pretty much sounded like a new and innovative tool to make your life easier and more fun (drama queen much?). I received a few bits and pieces from their Autumn collection to play around with, but I considered that this product deserves a separate post on its own.

So here's how this little yoke looks like:

A Little 'Outfit of the Day'

Ok, I have no clue why I just named my post using the word 'little', for this ain't a 'little clothes on' post, nor is this a 'little outfit length wise' post either....that being said, I'm quite little myself I guess!

To be completely honest my life is as exciting as a grocery shopping trip to Dunnes Stores (supermarket) gets, so I genuinely like to dress up a bit, meaning no sweatpants & trainers for me, no Sir! I grocery-shop in style.

Seriously, I thank the Lord I stopped at flats today, cause I always get 'killed' by my heels whilst shopping.

Kerastase recently launched a new haircare range deservingly wearing its name as 'Cristalliste', designed to give your locks a weightless, healthy and luminous effect. The technology behind it involves an Oil Solubilisation System that cleanses and purifies hair roots, an Anti Dry Magnet-Like Polymers with caring agents for smooth and polished ends, and with Aloe Vera Illuminator for moisturising and enhancing the hair's natural glow.  

YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation Review

As you might already be aware, I received a press sample of the Le Teint Touche Eclat by Yves Saint Laurent a while back, during the worldwide launch which took place in Ireland and I've been trialling it ever since. 

I gave the foundation a few go's when I received it and because it's a shade or two darker than my own skin tone, I re-took the job of trialling it during and after my holidays, when I finally got some colour in my complexion. Let me tell you now, this ain't a job, it's a pleasure, and here's how one might justify this statement.

PACKAGING:

Simply stunning, as one would be forced to agree at first glance. A heavy duty bottle container with a convenient and controlled pump dispenser that dispenses just the right amount of product, the stunning YSL inscription on the golden lid, this is pretty much the definition of a high end/luxury foundation, it doesn't get any better than that. Sure it's not travel friendly, but that's why we have sample pots, which is how I took this baby with me to Portugal.  

Chery Cole 'Under the Sun' Inspired Look

Today I went for a tricky yet pretty easy make-up look, tricky because it involves a lot of cheat contouring and pretty easy because, well...it is a pretty easy look to achieve! I absolutely love Cheryl Cole's new video 'Under the Sun', I'm not a massive fan of hers, but she is an extremely beautiful woman, so she sort of inspires me sometimes....that being said, I wish she would just get a stylist once and for all, so she could have her look completed!

So here's how the look came out, by all means I do NOT claim to look anything like her, and I completely see the difference between her look and mine, but hey, I thought I'll show you the result anyway, hope you enjoy!
