Maybelline SuperStay 10H Tint Gloss

I am a bit late in reviewing these, but in all fairness I spotted them a while back when they were first released on the market, and I remember thinking I must take advantage of a '3 for 2' Boots offer as soon as one pops up and buy three of them. You see, I was then too concerned and interested in the Maybelline Color Tattoos which had me hooked at the time.

I didn't get the chance to actually go out and buy these, cause to my luck and a very kind PR rep ;), I was sent these in last week as per usual, for consideration purposes. Let me tell you there's no considering when it comes to lip products, I get, I show :), but nonetheless honesty is still 100% present in this post, so read on to find out my thoughts on Maybelline SuperStay 10H Tint Gloss.

I google 'perfume collections' all the time, I search videos on YouTube on the topic, I write about them on Twitter... I'm hopeless and I know it! And I wouldn't change a thing :)....

NUXE Huile Prodigieuse 20 Years Anniversary

By now, everyone has at least heard of it, if not tried the iconic dry oil from NUXE, called 'Huile Prodigieuse' easily translated as 'Prodigious Oil'. And that is exactly what this is, a marvelous multi-purpose dry oil that I haven't had the chance to try until I was invited to its 20 Years Anniversary, last week. Oh but I have heard of it my friends, and it's only natural that I have, given the fact that one bottle is now sold every six seconds all over the world.

L'Oreal Paris describes its new summer collection as a 'mouth watering, sugar sweet selection of swirls, sparkles and shimmering shades'. When every other brand in this time of the year brings to the market the usual bronze and gold, the L'Oreal Paris collection seems to be more focused on fun pastels, fresh, young and delicious shades, what we would be accustomed to during the Spring season.

The Garnier Ultralift Challenge 2012

Who?     Garnier is challenging a quarter of a million women in the UK and Ireland to put the anti-ageing claims of 'Ultralift' to test, by offering them a 14 day sample kit comprising of a generous total of 21ml product. Garnier Ultralift Challenge was launched in 2011 and after becoming one of the largest consumer studies ever conducted on an anti-ageing cream's efficacy, it is now back with a boom! 

When?    Now - the challenge started this Wednesday so hurry up! This is limited to the first 250,000 women to log on to www.ultraliftchallenge.ie and claim their kit 

Why?       Because 71% of consumers don't believe in anti-ageing claims, as reported by 'Female Beauty and Personal Care Consumer' Market Research Report by MINTEL, August 2010 - UK

On Budget Festival Make-Up Look

It all started with a wee package I received from New York Color Cosmetics the other day, comprising a seriously colourful selection of their summer collection. As soon as I laid eyes on them, my thought ran towards 'festival make-up', and this comes from a girl that does not -under any circumstances, frequent these types of events, cause I'm un-hip and uncool! But leaving this fact aside, the following sketches what I would wear at a summer music festival :), make-up wise. Some random NYC swatches are also included below.

L'Oreal Professionnel Color Trophy Awards 2012

I had the absolute pleasure to be invited to this year's L'Oreal Professionnel Color Trophy Awards 2012 on Monday, following my fairy-tale experience at this magnificent event back in 2011. Check out my post from last year's Awards,  here :). 

Hosted at the usual O'Reilly Hall in UCD Dublin, there is no show like this show I tell you! The glam, the outfits, the make-up and more importantly... the hair! You know how we all see our hairdressers: they're Gods of style, always one step ahead of trends, really *there* when it comes to beauty, and now: can we all just take a minute and imagine a huge room full of all glammed-up hairdressers??? Yeah, enough said, enough to make a girl lock herself up in the ladies room and cry her eyes out (not that I did that, not that you'll ever know for that matter :)). Be my guest and read on if you're in the mood to be inspired by the work of some annoyingly talented people within the Irish hairdressing industry :)!

The following rant will basically be about some of my make-up products that fail at doing what they're supposed to, be it either they're unsuitable for me or they're just basically, how can I say this elegantly?...crap, and not worth the money spent!

Oriflame Triple Core Lipsticks

For everyone that isn't familiar with Oriflame, this is a Swedish cosmetic brand that's based around the same concept as Avon, meaning it's only available to purchase via its Representatives based on catalogue orders or online. 

I basically grew up around these two brands back home, and this was a very popular one in my teens. I still remember their 'Giordani Gold' perfume, which I absolutely loved and 'Lucia' fragrance which I am desperately trying to find even today, but I believe it's discontinued at this moment in time. 

I received these two lipsticks from a kind friend a few weeks back, so I thought I'll show these off a bit, since I love them and they're practically 'custom made' after my own taste and desire.
