I am a bit late in reviewing these, but in all fairness I spotted them a while back when they were first released on the market, and I remember thinking I must take advantage of a '3 for 2' Boots offer as soon as one pops up and buy three of them. You see, I was then too concerned and interested in the Maybelline Color Tattoos which had me hooked at the time.
I didn't get the chance to actually go out and buy these, cause to my luck and a very kind PR rep ;), I was sent these in last week as per usual, for consideration purposes. Let me tell you there's no considering when it comes to lip products, I get, I show :), but nonetheless honesty is still 100% present in this post, so read on to find out my thoughts on Maybelline SuperStay 10H Tint Gloss.
In my opinion, it was about bloody time the consistency and overall presentation of lip stains changed, after the usual watery 'nail polish brush' types came the marker style, both being a bit too drying in formula for me personally, and now come these ones which remind me of the YSL Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stains : a two in one formula, stain underneath and gloss on top, these are by far the most wearable in terms of non-drying the lips. The Maybelline SuperStay 10H Tint Gloss is described as having 'a unique formula of dye, water and oils' which is perfect for rich colour without dehydrating the lips....and I must say that I agree with all that jazz! Available in eight bang-on trend, beautiful shades, they retail at an RRP of 11.49Euro.
I received three shades:
The applicator is a soft sponge, really pleasant to use on the lips, but quite tricky when it comes to a full on, proper application, I just wish it had a more sharper end to it for precision. It takes a bit of practice to get the lines of the lips right, but still -this is not a turn-off to me personally.

As the images show, this shade is not a full on pink, but more like a red with pink undertones, it's quite a difficult one to describe, but is without a doubt a beautiful, modern shade.

A definite coral shade, this will go hand in hand with a tan, very summery and very pretty.

There's no denying that this stunner here is the strongest one of the bunch, it's such a rich and vibrant, vampy ruby red, needless to say I am in love with this!
The staying power of these is really good, and you do by all means get a ten hour wear out of them. As mentioned above, to me, these are not drying at all and I do have 'Sahara lips', even lipsticks dehydrate them at times. All in all, they deserve their 11.49Euro price tag in my opinion, and while the YSL Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stain come in a 6 ml tube, Maybelline gives you 10.5ml, so you can't really beat the difference in all fairness :).
Have you tried these yet? Which one tickles your fancy? I cannot choose between them, or if I really really had to, I would go with both 'Lasting Pink' and 'Endless Ruby', which are equally stunning :).
