I am going to keep this short and sweet... this mascara is awesome, it rules and it rocks, and it's quite possibly the best mascara I have ever tried!
I bought this a while back and didn't give it enough love or attention for that matter, since at the time I was rocking other mascaras from my collection. The one I have is for green eyes and it's in shade 'Black Emerald', a green-ish black colour if that makes any sense.
The wand is perfection, it's a short bristled rubber wand, but it's a soft and manageable material which does not poke your eyes out upon application. I don't know how and please don't ask me, but this picks up even the shiest, shortest eyelash I have and while it adds loads of volume, it also lengthens...win, win!
I like a versatile mascara that can give you an enhanced yet natural look without clumping, but one that can also add a bit of extra drama should you need it, again without the spider legs effect we all loathe...see demo below. It also has an excess wiper inside the tube (at the top), which helps distribute just the right amount of product on the wand. I don't know if my mascara is from a good batch or not, but I will definitely buy the other shades as well, just for the craic :).
Naked eye (eugh!)
One coat:
Two coats:
I actually have to stop at two coats because the results are too darn good for me to spoil by adding an extra layer :). This leaves my eyelashes feeling soft and manageable (just in case I need to touch up, layering is more than welcome), and doesn't smudge or budge throughout the day, purrrrfection.
Well done L'Oreal Paris, you did us proud!
Have you tried this? Agree or disagree?
Yours, ArtDonatella

Oh that actually looks great! I'm working my way through so many mascaras at the minute so I'm definitely going to put this down on my want list!
