Oh, of course this will be a perfume post :) What else?. New additions that is!
I can honestly say I own over 25 perfumes (between 25-30) - leaving out the ones I gave away as pressies to people less obsessed with perfumes than I am.
I would like to start this with a confession: I did not purchase all of these myself, my husband does that all the time - spoils me to bits, because he looooves me (I guess) - "JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I WAS OUT, THEY PULL ME BACK IN!' - love this line (Al Pacino - 'The Godfather').
Back to our business, here are the new additions to the family:
Marc Jacobs 'Daisy' - a lovely floral/green scent
Strawberry, violet leaf, pink grapefruit, gardenia, violet, jasmine, white wood, vanilla and mosk. I bought it during the Christmas sales from Arnotts, for 36Euros. It is the refillable / purse version, with 15 ml + 20 ml, and I always carry it around in my bag. I love the scent, its very 'green', to my nose at least.
Chanel 'Chance Eau Tendre'
Jasmine, Grapefruit, Quince, Hyacinth, Musk, Iris, Virginia Cedar and Amber...And it smells almost exactly the same as 'Daisy'...It is a bit less 'green' and more floral than 'Daisy' - I wanted this perfume for soooo long - Did I buy this? No, my husband bought it for me for 'Valentines Day', God Bless him! I absolutely love this perfume!
Vera Wang 'Look'
Mandarin orange, green notes, Litchi, Green Apple, Lily, Freesia, Jasmine, Vanilla, Musk, Oakmoss, Patchouli. I also wanted this perfume for a while now. This is my Christmas scent, its so yummy, I could lash it on all day. I bought it from TK Maxx, together with the body lotion which has tiny sparkle particles in it and feels very luxurious on (for 46Euro - both).
And finally, Dior 'J'Adore'
Magnolia, Melon, Peach, Pear, Bergamont, Mandarin Orange - just a few ingredients.
O.M.G.! It's soooo long lasting, I ADORE it! Lovely smell, very close to beating Coco Mademoiselle in my 'favourite perfume' competition - honestly now I have two perfumes that I equally love, cannot choose between them. Also a gift from my 'better half', for Christmas.
Without hesitation, the award for 'Hubby of the Year' goes to my dear beloved husband. Yay!!!
What's your favourite perfume???
Yours, ArtDonatella
xoxo
