FOTD & PERFUME TREASURE 2

First, here's the look I sported today, nothing fancy...just a mug shot.

And onto the more interesting stuff, voila my second part of perfume collection.
Introducing to you, some of my designer scents:

In all their fanciness...

Coco Mademoiselle - Chanel - aw, my favourite out of the whole bunch I must admit

'Joy' by Jean Patou - Classic perfume - the worlds' second best selling perfume after 'No5' - Chanel

Nina Ricci - I think is called 'Nina' - worldwide confusion regarding the name, I believe
Gorgeous, sweet, apple scent

Wera Wang 'Princess' - fabulous, not very long lasting, but since I have it in 100 ml version,
I quite 'lash' it on (spritz-oh-maniac)

'Gucci' by Gucci - eau de perfume
My airport scent, because I first smelled/spritzed it on in an airport obviously, whenever I smell it, gives me the airport feeling. I have a slight fear of flying (as in- its not a bus ride for me), so the scent kinda makes me nervous, but still adore it! Call it...adrenaline :)

And the last one from part 2 of my collection, Issey Miyake (I always need to check the spelling of his name)
'L'Eau D'Issey - 'Reflections in a Drop' - limited edition

That was part 2 of my 'Perfume Treasure' saga. A third and last part to follow soon.

I love investing in perfumes, and I feel that they are the only things that can trigger memory in such a magical way, so my only advise would be, never to wear a perfume on sad occasions (i.e. see my airport perfume above), as they will undoubtedly make you feel low all day long while wearing them, even if you don't realize it, trust me- the perfume is to blame! Thanks for reading everyone...

P.O.T.D. (Purchases Of The Day)

Hello everyone. Hope you are all well. I bought a few makeup from TK Maxx on Thursday, that I want to show you. I saw on their website some new Lancaster products, in sets (just as they always sell high end brand makeup) and obviously I rushed  out the door, almost flying until Stephens Green Shopping Centre. I was searching for reviews on the Lancaster makeup online, but I couldn't find anything except their website...all I know is that its a rather expensive brand, (Nars wise I believe). Now, the packaging is absolutely amazing, very sleek, expensive looking, and the products really look high quality too. I purchased 3 sets (not really sets, but TK Maxx kinda puts a few in a pouch and 'call it' a price) and one separate product. The first set was of four items, priced at eur24.99, the second of three items, priced at eur19.99, a huge pouch containing six items at eur39.99 and an illuminating powder at eur8.99. Not too bad for 14 items! Now, the RRP for them was eur117 + eur85 + eur165 + eur41 - quite a bargain, I think you agree.

All the above are from a collection called 'SUNLIGHT' and they come in two variations: 'Natural' for non tanned face and 'Sunny' for tanned / sun kissed look.

Overall, I am thrilled with my new babies, and really looking forward trying them out. I went crazy with my purchases, I know, but everyone needs to feed their addictions. That being said, I'll see you in my next post. Hope you enjoyed this, will review some soon!

Cool shades for summer, anyone???

My love for TK Maxx is endless, and will last forever and a day (cheesy peasy). I got two new designer shades last week from there, and I absolutely adore them, and save them for special occasions (such as sunshine here in Dublin, yes).

Anna Sui - meet everyone;
Everyone - meet Ana Sui

And last but not least, Stella McCartney - Ooohhhhh
(bad pic, but  look at the shades)

Looking forward to wearing them, caring for them and loving them all summer long!!!

P.O.T.D. (Purchases Of The Day)

I went to Brown Thomas today desperately needing a new foundation...I ended up with one, sure I did! And boy, am I excited about my new Clarins Everlasting Foundation and the Flash Beauty Balm I also adopted :) - my kindness has no limits...Here they are in all their glory:

And with these babies I also chose three Clarins sample products from a small selection, for free (gift time of some sort), which I must admit they are quite big in size, see below:

1. The same Beauty Flas Balm - 30 ml.
2. Pure Melt Cleansing Gel - 75 ml.
3. HydraQuench Cream  - 30 ml.

...not too shabby, right?

And finally, I got from Hickeys Pharmacy (one of my favourite pharmacies for makeup/perfume deals), the L'Oreal Renewal Lash Serum, which I am dying to try out!

That being said, I will try these and post reviews on them as soon as I get the 'Good, the Bad and the Ugly' from each one of them.

F.O.T.D.

So, I finally got home from work, and I decided to post a FOTD. Today I am wearing my 'safety net' makeup (a.k.a. uninspired makeup), which is:

MAC Studio Fix Flluid Foundation - NW15
Avon Bronzing Pearls
Stila 'Twig' eyeshadow - gorgeous colour, love, love it
L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara - Carbon Black - multiple layers :)

Please excuse my ungroomed eyebrows - trying to change my shape - fingers crossed

Yours, ArtDonatella
